Easton Pool & Spa is a family-owned, full-service pool company. Design, permitting, construction, plumbing, electrical and decking happen under one roof — and so does the service team that keeps it all running for decades afterward.
A teacher, a summer break, and a pool for a friend.
In 1957, Henry Hobaica — a Walpole educator — started building pools for friends during his summers off. He called it Pilgrim Pool Company. Word travelled the way it does in small New England towns, and within a few seasons the name was synonymous with excellence across Southeastern Massachusetts.
That very first pool is still in use today. In 1972 the company registered as Easton Pool Inc. and bought its headquarters on Washington Street; in 1989 it acquired the PermaCrete form system and pioneered the fully reinforced concrete liner pool that remains one of our signatures.
Three generations on, we are still family-run, still on Route 138, and still building the way Henry did: with our own people, start to finish.

From a single backyard in Walpole to a 7,000-square-foot headquarters, two retail stores and crews on the Cape and the Vineyard.
Henry Hobaica builds the company’s first pool. It is still in use today.
Registered under the Easton name and purchased the headquarters at 811 Washington Street.
Facility size doubled and two display pools built so customers could see the craft before buying.
Acquired the PermaCrete form system and pioneered the fully reinforced concrete liner pool.
Built the 7,000-square-foot headquarters in Easton that the company still operates from.
Expanded construction service to the island.
Opened a Cape Cod retail location to serve customers closer to the coast.
Launched the Plunge Plus line of luxury plunge pools for smaller yards.
Joined Easton Select Group and was named a Best of Boston Home winner.
