PermaCrete combines the structural advantages of reinforced concrete with the comfort and versatility of a premium vinyl surface. Precision-formed, fiber-reinforced concrete walls give you a shell that laughs at New England frost; the liner gives you a smooth, warm, endlessly customizable finish.

We acquired the PermaCrete form system in 1989 and pioneered the fully reinforced concrete liner pool — it remains one of our signature systems.

Gunite is the most customizable pool available because of how it is built: steel-reinforced concrete sprayed in place, in any shape, any depth, with any feature you can draw. Vanishing edges, waterfalls, sun shelves, integrated spas, natural stone — and premium finishes from PebbleSheen to full tile.

We listen closely to your ideas and design an outdoor living space that is uniquely yours, then assign a dedicated project manager to oversee the entire construction process.

03 — Plunge Plus

Plunge pools

Launched in 2020, our Plunge Plus line brings a true luxury pool to yards that were never supposed to fit one — tight lots, steep grades, historic districts, second homes on the Cape and the Vineyard.

Smaller footprint, faster build, less to heat and maintain, and every bit as finished as a full-size pool.

A pool is the anchor, not the whole backyard. Because decking, plumbing and electrical are already our trades, we design the patio, fire feature, lighting, outdoor kitchen and landscape as one project instead of four contractors and three schedules.

Permitting

We prepare and file the building permit and any local approvals your town requires. We have been doing this in Southeastern Massachusetts since 1957; very little surprises us.

Excavation & structure

Our crews dig, set steel and build the shell — PermaCrete forms or sprayed gunite — with our own equipment. Plumbing and electrical rough-ins happen here, by our own people.

Finishes, equipment & decking

Liner or interior finish, tile and coping, then pumps, filtration, heater, lighting and automation. Decking goes in last so nothing gets damaged by heavy work.

Fill, start-up & hand-over

We fill and balance the water, commission every piece of equipment, and walk you through it all. Then our service team takes over: openings, closings, weekly care and Winter Watch, for as long as you own the pool.

Before you break ground.

It depends on the pool system, the site and — more than anything in Massachusetts — permitting and season. We give you a realistic schedule at the design stage and a project manager who keeps it honest. Ask us early: spring build slots fill fast.

PermaCrete gives you a reinforced concrete structure with a smooth vinyl finish, typically at a lower cost than gunite. Gunite is the right call when the design demands total freedom — unusual shapes, vanishing edges, integrated spas, tile and pebble finishes. We will walk you through both on the site visit.

Yes. Permitting is one of the six trades we keep in-house. We prepare and file the building permit and the local approvals your town requires, and we deal with the inspectors along the way.

Within roughly 50 miles of our Easton headquarters — Southeastern Massachusetts, Metro Boston and the Rhode Island line — plus Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard, where we have built since 2010. If you are on the edge of that area, call and ask; the answer is usually yes.

That is the whole point of being a full-service company. Openings, closings, weekly service, Winter Watch, equipment and liner replacements — the same company that built your pool keeps it running, with a service report in your app after every visit.
